Is the tour physically demanding?

Can I bring my camera or phone?
The government of Belize has banned all Cameras, phones, and any electronic devices from entering inside the cave to protect the artifacts. You can leave behind electronics in the vehicle.

What if I can’t swim?
The swim at the entrance is short (~15 ft). Life jackets are provided, and guides are there to assist. Let us know in ahead of time.

No. Entry is allowed only with a licensed cave guide to preserve and protect the site, and keep you safe.
Where do I leave my belongings?
You’ll leave your items securely in the vehicle. Park rangers are on-site. You’ll return to the same location after the tour.

Yes. You’ll reach the final chamber where this iconic skeleton rests — believed to be a Maya sacrificial offering, now shimmering with calcite.
